|Michael Derrick – Managing Director
Michael joined the company after completing a Diploma in Nursing and having worked in the National Health Service for a number of years. Michael is an executive of the East Sussex and Brighton and Hove Registered Care Association. He works closely with the management team providing support and ensuring a high standard of care. Michael is responsible for business planning, budget management and undertaking regular audits of the service provided.
|Caroline Derrick – Training & Development Director
Caroline joined Oakdown House in 1997 as a support worker, progressing through the company and is currently our Training & Development Director. Caroline has a wealth of experience in supporting staff to gain professional qualifications, and is also a qualified trainer in Makaton, Manual Handling & Diploma assessor.
|Michelle Spates – Facilities Director
Michelle joined the company in 2008 and brings valuable business leadership and management experience from her career in the national media industry. Michelle oversees the management & maintenance of the company facilities & works closely with the Registered Managers & staff team to ensure the quality of our environment & equipment
| Tina O’Callaghan, Registered Manager, Carricks Brook
Tina is our manager at Carricks Brook, a residential care home for adults with Autism and challenging needs. Tina holds an LMC award along with a number of NVQ and specialist care qualifications . She is also our in -house N.A.P.P.I. (Non-Abusive, Psychological & Physical Intervention) trainer. Tina has worked with adults with autism and learning disabilities for more than 20 years, both in support and staff training.
| Hamish Duffy - Deputy Manager, Carricks Brook
Hamish has worked in the care industry for over 15 years and has broad experience of clients and services. Prior to working at Carricks Brook, supporting Tina O’Callaghan, Hamish was senior team leader for The Pavilion at our sister home Oakdown House.
